JPR Ready is a certification prep and JPR reference app. The app is designed to provide local reference content, skill sheets, PDF materials, and generated study questions without requiring a user account.
Information You Provide
The app does not ask you to create an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, address, contacts, photos, payment information, or other directly submitted personal information.
Diagnostics, Crash Reports, and Performance Data
JPR Ready 3.0.0 preview and production builds enable Sentry and Expo Observe. The selected Sentry app-start trace rate and Expo Observe installation sample rate are both 100%. Debug logging and debug-build dispatch remain disabled.
JavaScript errors sent to Sentry pass through a strict sanitizer and may contain error type, sanitized message, stack trace, timestamps, approved build and event labels, and fixed app-event breadcrumbs. Native diagnostic handling runs separately. Reports for native crashes, Android ANRs, and iOS watchdog terminations may send native exception or signal details, thread and stack data, timestamps, app, release, build and SDK metadata, device and operating-system or runtime context, loaded native modules or packages, and native SDK breadcrumbs. The app does not set a Sentry user identity, but the JavaScript field sanitizer does not apply to these native diagnostic reports.
Sentry also receives a narrowly limited app-start performance transaction. App-start transactions are accepted only for cold or warm starts and may contain trace and span identifiers, timing, sanitized descriptions, app-start measurements, and total, slow, and frozen frame counts.
The current Sentry configuration disables UI-interaction traces, broad automatic performance or network traces, failed-request capture, JavaScript event-loop stall measurements, profiles, replays, user feedback, application logs, automatic sessions, screenshots, view hierarchy, and default personally identifiable information. The app-start transaction sanitizer removes users, requests, unrelated contexts and spans, breadcrumbs, and arbitrary transaction data; the JavaScript error sanitizer removes those fields from JavaScript-captured errors. Native diagnostic reports may retain the native technical context and breadcrumbs described above.
Expo Observe receives startup measurements such as cold and warm launch time, JavaScript bundle-load time, time to first render, time to interactive, frame performance, and EAS Update download timing. It also receives app, build, update, operating-system, device-model, language, power, thermal, battery, and network-condition information; session identifiers; and an anonymous identifier scoped to the app installation. That installation identifier persists across app updates and resets when the app is reinstalled. Unhandled JavaScript exception records may contain the exception type, message, stack trace, fatal status, source, and timestamp.
During app launch, Expo Observe automatically creates an aggregate summary of network requests made before the app becomes interactive. The summary may include request and failure counts, byte and duration totals, and the hostname and duration of the slowest request. It does not include full URLs, paths, query strings, request or response bodies, headers, or a list of individual requests. Expo and Sentry may also process an IP address as part of receiving telemetry over the internet.
Study Content and App Activity
A fixed set of events may record that the app opened; a certification, level, or filter changed; a task or PDF was opened; a study test was opened, generated, or checked; or a local preference operation failed. Event fields are limited to bounded technical values such as certification, level, task, screen, platform, source, stage, status, test mode, and whether an answer was correct. Search text, task or PDF content, answer text, and other free-form user content are not sent. This activity is not connected to a user account and is not used to create an advertising profile.
How Information Is Used
Information collected by the app is used to:
- operate, maintain, and improve the app;
- diagnose crashes, errors, and performance issues;
- understand whether app updates and key app screens are functioning correctly;
- protect the reliability and security of the app.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use telemetry for advertising. The limited diagnostic and performance information described above is processed by service providers only to support app updates, reliability, observability, error reporting, security, and maintenance.
Third-Party Services
The app uses Expo Application Services for app updates and Expo Observe performance and event monitoring. It uses Sentry for error reporting and the narrowly limited app-start transaction described above. Expo and Sentry process this information on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. Identifiers and Identity
JPR Ready does not require an account and does not set a Sentry or Expo Observe user identity. Session, trace, span, and anonymous installation identifiers are used to group technical records. The app does not link those identifiers to a name, email address, phone number, advertising identifier, or other directly identifying account information.
Data Retention
Diagnostic and performance information is retained only as long as needed for app maintenance, troubleshooting, analytics, legal, or security purposes, or as required by the third-party service providers used by the app.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your Choices
You can stop all future collection of information by uninstalling the app from your device. You may also use device-level privacy controls where available.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If the policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
